Michael Freeman is an actor and dancer who specializes in Lecoq based mime and clown work. He trained in Native American clown technique at the Theatre Resource Centre under the direction of Sue Morrison in Canada. He creates his own dance theater work which has been shown recently at the Flea theater, Joyce Theater Soho, HERE Arts Center and Dixon Place. Seen on film and television, and recently in the plays Asshole Differential at the WOW Cafe Theater, Escape From The Women's Wacko Ward at the Duplex and "I Hate John" at the Joyce Theater in choreographer Ashley A. Friend's company The Dance Contemporary Core.
