Mariah MacCarthy writes plays, some of which have sex, gender-bending, and dancing in them. Some of them are THE ALL-AMERICAN GENDERF*CK CABARET (sold-out run at UNDER St. Mark's), AMPERSAND: A ROMEO & JULIET STORY (winner of 11 awards including Best Production and Best Script at the Looking Glass Winter Forum Awards), A MAN OF HIS WORD (San Diego Old Globe with Playwrights Project), DISMEMBERMENT (Players Theatre), and AFTER THE TOWER (Parkside Lounge). She is also Associate Producer of FOUND at Ars Nova, a proud Skidmore graduate, and an occasional director/dramaturg. She thanks Larry Kunofsky.
