Andrew Rothkin is delighted to be back with Left Hip Productions, having penned the dark comedy B.F.F. for last year’s horror-inspired From the Hip. Other works produced include Danny, Voice, tryin’ t’ touch the sun and Paved with Gold, as well as LOVE & LUST, the first evening of theatre devoted exclusively to Andrew’s shorts. His play Bubby’s Shadow won “Outstanding Overall Production of a New Drama Play” at The Midtown International Theatre Festival, 2008, and Meredith’s Ring (which Andrew also staged) won “Outstanding Overall Production of a One-Act Play” at The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, 2009. Andrew is also an actor, director, teacher/coach, and the Artistic director of White Rabbit Theatre. He is in pre-production as director and co-producer for Macbeth, going up March 2011, and is actively writing a new full-length comedy.
